We Are Back!
But this year, there’s more than the Family Fun Cricket! It’s…Charity Pink Ball Cricket between traditional rivals. As always, all-day excitement is guaranteed.
In addition, there will be games organised by our young persons to keep the tiny tots busy.
Entry: Free for LIS members. £3 for non-members, children <12 free
1000-1030 Arrival
1030-1200 Gladiators Vs SUPERSTARS
1200-1300 RIDERS Vs Wolves
1300 -1400 Hot Lunch (Potluck)
1700 – 1730 Samosas/pakoras/tea/coffee
1730 – 1900 Family fun cricket and awards
Each family will bring a dish for the hot potluck lunch buffet or snacks for the tea. The organising committee will be in touch with the details of potluck, rules of the game, teams and other details after the closing date (1/9/17, see below).
Please bring along plenty of drinks to last the entire day for the whole family. We would suggest at least 2-3 litres of soft drinks/water per family.
At the end of the event, please stay and help to tidy up. It would be appreciated by all. Some equipment is available but feel free to bring your own bats, brolleys etc.

Please confirm your attendance for family cricket by replying to before 6 pm on 01/09/2017 with the number of under-12s and over-12s, family surname and, if you so wish, the name of the team you’re going to support.

Charity Cricket:
Please check out details of the charity cricket match below to either participate in or to sponsor the game – it’s a great opportunity for LIS to contribute to the local community. All proceeds will go to the charity Lincoln Community Larder, which provides food for the needy. Please do join us in having fun while raising funds for a great cause. There are two rolling trophies to be won – one for the team that wins the match and the other for the team that raises the most money.
We are delighted to have GULLY CRICKETERS on board in our first charity venture.

Players should be aged over 16 due to health and safety regulations
Whites and full kit compulsory
Entry fee £5 per player- Mandatory
Suggested team fundraising terms – voluntary, teams will sponsor their own performance as follows:
Each run scored- 50 p per team
Each Four- £5 per team
Each Six – £ 7 per team
Each wicket taken- £5 per team
It is likely to work out about £20 per player including entry fee.
