Who we are
A society for everyone, since 2014
Founded in 2014, Lincs Indian Society brings together people of Indian origin across Lincolnshire — and shares the colour and warmth of Indian culture with the wider community. We are run by volunteers and rely on membership fees for our running costs. Whatever your background, you are welcome at our events.

What we do
Three things guide us
Culture
Festivals, food, music and dance — from Diwali celebrations to cricket on a summer's day, we keep traditions alive and share them with Lincolnshire.
Community
We connect people — new arrivals and long-time residents alike — building friendships and a sense of belonging across the county.
Charity
Our events raise funds for good causes, giving back to the community that makes everything we do possible.

Promote solidarity, friendship, co-operation and community spirit amongst our members.
Encourage social and cultural integration through year-round programmes and activities.
Build links between the Lincolnshire Indian community and people of Indian origin around the world.
Keep alive the traditional practices, values and cultural heritage of the Indian community in Lincolnshire.
Raise awareness of Indian literature, art, script, rituals, festivals and music.
Strengthen connections between the Indian community and the wider society of the UK.
